"You have kept the good wine until now!" John 2:10. Changing the water into wine at the wedding at Cana was the first public miracle Jesus performed. Was it really wine or just grape juice? Later when Jesus entered the Temple, he drove out the money-changers and those who sold sheep, oxen, and doves for the sacrifices. Why did he do this? Why was this going on in the Temple in the first place? These technical notes are a tremendous resource of information on the interpretation of the text. |
